[...]Ihr habt euer Demo sofort komplett kostenlos online gestellt. Ist das ein Vorbote darauf, wie ihr mit der Entwicklung der Musikszene umgeht oder habt ihr vor das, was da kommen mag, auch physisch rauszubringen?
...wie Du bereits sagtest, handelt es sich bis jetzt ja nur um Demoaufnahmen! Ziel für uns ist es natürlich erst einmal möglichst vielen Leuten unsere Musik vorzustellen. Da ist es ja nur von Vorteil, wenn man sich die Songs kostenlos runterlanden kann und sie daher eventuell auch auf dem Mp3-Player landen oder durch weitergeben etc. in den Umlauf gelangen! Es ist schließlich nicht unsere Ambition mit unserer Musik Geld zu verdienen! Wenn Du Dir mal die aktuellen Verkaufszahlen vergleichbarer "größerer" Bands in Deutschland anschaust, sieht das ganz schön arm aus. Wenn ich dazu im Vergleich sehe, dass sich in gerade mal zwei Monaten 700 Leute unser Demo gezogen haben, obwohl es ohne jegliche Werbung und nur im ersten Blog unser Myspace-Seite zu finden ist, dann ist uns damit mehr geholfen. Wenn Du dann noch berücksichtigst, dass wir, wie gesagt, ja gerade mal seit Mitte Dezember offiziell mit der Seite online sind und dementsprechend noch einen recht begrenzten Bekanntheitsgrad haben, ist das für uns schon unerwartet erfreulich.
Wenn Du mich also schon so fragst, könnte ich mir unter Umständen durchaus auch vorstellen die anstehende Platte kostenlos zum Download anzubieten. Für Leute, die gerne etwas Physisches in den Händen halten wollen, kann man ja trotzdem eine Kleinstauflage an Vinyl und/oder CD zu einem fairen Preis anbieten! Man muss halt mal gucken was da so kommt und die Pros und Contras gegeneinander abwiegen[...] (via)
